Commit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established.
Especially now as the new year begins, people set new goals for their future and have big plans and wishes. That is good, and if you don’t have any yet, then it is time you go and get some, because without the will to grow and move forward, life has nothing more to offer.
So now many people set themselves new goals, but the sad thing about this is that statistics prove that only 8% of those people actually see results.
The reason for this is that many people wish for something, but at the same time they are not willing to actually follow through and accept the consequences.
So no matter if you already have new goals and wishes, or if you don’t have any, I want to prompt you to start over again.
First of all, go back to God’s Word and find His plans and goals for your life and your upcoming year. If you don’t have any yet, then you will find many in His word, and if you already have some, then His word will encourage to aim for your goals or will show you an even better way.
After you did that and finally have plans and goals for your upcoming year, it is time to write them down and keep them in front of your eyes continually. (Habakkuk 2,2)
God’s Word has promises for every area of your life, whether you want to loose weight or gain weight, get your relationship back on track, get a new house, or anything else that is on your heart.
Be consistent this year. Find His promises and then keep them in front of you continually, then you will be one of those successful 8%!
Whenever a new year starts, people make wishes and set new goals for their next year, and it is a good thing to want to keep going, yet only 8% of those goals actually come to pass.
When you set your goals this year, make sure you are one of those 8%, by firstly basing your goals on God’s word and then by writing them down and keeping them in front of your eyes continually.
Take some time to set your goals and then don’t quit until you see the results. Be consistent this year and you will be among the successful 8%! (Proverbs 16,3 & Habakkuk 2,2)
