But the word is very near you,
in your mouth and in your mind and in your heart,
so that you can do it.
One of the greatest spiritual laws is the law of your words. You have what you say.
Just like we have physical laws though (gravity,…) we also have spiritual laws and just like physical laws work always for anyone at any time the same way and bring the same results, so do spiritual laws work the same, no matter who is using them. The only difference between physical and spiritual laws is that with spiritual laws you can even overwrite physical laws!
Deuteronomy 30 talks about such a spiritual law and when you use that law of speaking and possessing (confess and possess) the right way, you can turn your whole life around and bring it on the path of blessing and life.
Life and death are in the power of your tongue (Proverbs 18,21) and with your words you decide whether you live in curse and death or life and blessings. With words of life you choose life and with words of death you choose death.
So what do you speak in your day to day life over yourself?
“I am so silly/stupid. This never works out for me. My pains are killing me. I will never get out of those debts.…”
Or: “I have the wisdom of God in me. I can do all things through my anointing (Christ). I am healed in the name of Jesus. I am an heir of Abraham and therefore I live in abundance.…”
Those are words of life and words of death. Choose cautiously which ones you let into your heart and which ones you let out of your mouth, because no matter if your situation right now is good or bad, with words of life you will turn that situation into life and blessing!
In everything you do there is 2 ways to go, one is the way of the curse and death and the other is of life and blessing, but the choice is yours!
In fact, the choice is made in your heart and brought to pass by the words coming out of your mouth. Words of death bring death and words of life bring life. What words do you want to speak over your life and what words do you want to live in? Words of abundance, peace, joy and love or words of poverty, destruction, failure and defeat?
The choice is yours... choose life! (Deuteronomy 30,11-20)
