The very fact that you have lawsuits among yourselves
is already a defeat for you.
Why not rather just accept the wrong?
It is good to be able to defend your point of view and you should know why you believe what you believe, but be watchful to not get involved in disputes and lawsuits (fighting about who is right). Not with your family and not with outsiders!
God will often tell you to say certain things to people, to tell them about your faith and the favor of God, or to even wake them up to the truth with your words, but disputes will destroy all the good things you sowed through your word, before you even know it.
Did you ever notice how upset and angry people get at you, if they have a problem and you tell them what the right thing to do would be? They want to attack you, even though you have the answer to their situation.
Behind those reactions is the devil. You have a good word of God, that will bring much fruit for those people once you sowed it, and the devil knows this. That is why he will immediately try to start a fight, right after the word was sown.
But now that you know this strategy of the devil, NEVER EVER be tricked by it again!
Be willing to keep yourself under control, that as soon as dispute arises, you can just turn your back on it, and most of all control yourself, so that you don't have to have the last word in every situation.
Those two things have destroyed a lot more seed and brought a lot more misery than physical things could.
Remain in the love, be willing to proclaim Gods word once He revealed it to you, but then give that word room to spring up and bear fruits, by you learning to just walk away from those situations and by you not having to have the last word anymore, no matter how loud the devil roars at you!
There are a lot of people in this world that just want to argue and there are a lot of people that will disagree with you at some point, but NEVER let that disagreement hinder your love walk and NEVER let it move you off of the word of God!
Don’t let people drag you into arguments and don’t be one of those who always has to have the last word. God will show you what to say and who to say it to, but once that is said, be willing to turn around and walk away again, without getting in arguments and without having the last word.
God will resolve the situation for you and He will deal with those people, as long as you give Him room to do so! (1. Corinthians 6,5-12)
