The purpose in a man's heart is like deep water,
but a man of understanding will draw it out.
Shortly before this verse (verse 3) it says that an honorable man of God stays away from strife and only a fool starts fighting. And if you ever looked at strife in the bible, you will know that it is one of the worst and most destructive things that you can do.
Now just like it says it here though, everyone has the right answer to strife in their hearts, but it takes more than just saying whatever comes to your mind, to receive that answer.
It is easier and comes more “natural” to us to just say whatever crosses our mind, yet if you do that then you are a fool, talking yourself into destruction, even though you could know better if you would just think about it for a little while.
God teaches us to see people and talk about them the same way He does.
He sees you and the one that is annoying you without fault and He talks ONLY good and ONLY those things that edify, strengthen and bring peace about you and the other one.
So it is important for you to discipline yourself and search your heart and hear from God what to say, BEFORE you just say whatever you think.
When you do this then you will notice that you should be quick to overlook something bad and also quick to speak and magnify everything that is good, no matter how big or small.
Whatever you constantly talk about and constantly magnify is what will magnify in your life and become more real too. So only speak the good and when something is done well, thank for it, no matter how big or small. It will change your life!
Only fools say everything that comes to their mind without discerning, which brings them into trouble, strife and separation quickly. Honorable men and women of God though search their heart before they speak and are quick to overlook bad and to amplify all good!
See those people around you the way God sees them (without blemish and fault) and then speak about them the way God does - only good for the use of edifying!
Whatever you amplify the most is what you will see and what will manifest the most. (Ephesians 4,29-32 & Proverbs 20,3-5)
