And when Daniel knew that the writing was signed,
he went into his house…
and he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed,
and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
If satan tries to get you into the corner again, then do it like Daniel did, on whom no manner of hurt was found, because he trusted the Lord! (verse 23)
Trusting in the Lord doesn't mean to go to church every sunday and sing hallelujah. It means to align your whole life with God and to make His word count more than all those circumstances that stand again it.
The kind of trust that will really bring results in your life must also have actions to it though, for trust/faith without works is dead!
Even when king Darius established an ordinance so Daniel couldn't pray to and praise God anymore, without being thrown into the lions den, what was the FIRST THING Daniel did?
He was NOT influenced at all and just like he always did, he came before God and praised Him loudly so everybody could hear it.
Many would call that stupidity, but it was Daniels strong faith in that God would save him no matter what happens to him, because he valued God more than any other power of this world!
So where do you still think it's stupidity to use your faith instead of following the crowd?
Where do you still let your circumstances crush you and where do you still start running around and get crazy as soon as the devil pinches you a little?
You have God on your side and therefore it is time for you to take your life into your own hands and don't allow the devil to command you any longer!
Stay unmovable on the word of God and His promises, and when the devil then throws you into the lions den, don't give up and stand in faith, because God will send His angels to protect you and prepare a cosy bed for you, until the morning breaks through and the whole nation glorifies YOU and YOUR GOD!
Just when you think that it’s all over and that there is no way out, don’t give up and stand even stronger on the word, for your victory is right outside the door!
Don’t let circumstances that seem impossible scare you and don’t change your faith according to those circumstances neither.
Stay stubborn concerning your faith and stay uninfluenced by the outside world, for only then will you see the breakthrough and only then will you be glorified together with God! (Daniel 6,7-24)
